The Deutscher Computerspielpreis brings together the Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the Minister of State for Digitisation Dorothee Bär and the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI), and the Video Games Europe member trade association “game” (Association of the German video games industry) to pick the best video games developed and released in Germany this past year.
