Ubisoft

Ubisoft launched the Good Game Playbook to encourage positive online interactions and help players when they encounter toxic or inappropriate behaviors in game play. Developed in collaboration with mental health charity Safe In Our World, The Good Game Playbook educates players on how to identify, report and combat inappropriate conduct to create safer online spaces.

Employing the expertise and counsel of Safe In Our World, the comprehensive guidebook includes valuable resources for those experiencing online toxicity and promotes positive mental health practices. The playbook offers informative tools tailored for all members of the video game community, including players, parents and game developers, to help cope with feelings of stress and anger associated with gameplay and to help develop self-awareness and resilience.

Ubisoft provides the handbook to any player who reports another for toxicity, as well as to the reported parties. It is also available online for free to anyone who is interested.
