Video Games Europe appoints new Chair

Brussels, 24 March 2026 - Video Games Europe is pleased to announce the appointment of its new Chair, Clemens Mayer-Wegelin, European General Counsel and Senior Director at Nintendo of Europe, who has been a Board member of Video Games Europe since 2018.

Commenting on his new role, Mayer-Wegelin said: “This is a particularly exciting time to take on this role with the digital sector and related issues high on the EU policy agenda. I look forward to working with the Brussels team and Video Games Europe members around Europe to further improve our engagement with policy makers and to highlight the many positive and impactful aspects of our unique industry.”
