Anselm Rodenhausen joined Video Games Europe in November as Vice President Legal and Policy. Anselm joins from Zalando where he headed up the antitrust law team in Berlin, responsible for the group’s competition and distribution law matters in 25 markets. Prior to this, he focussed on the digital sector in different positions: as a lawyer/Principal Associate in the Brussels office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, representing telecoms, platforms and tech companies; and as a Legal & Policy Officer with the European Commission (DG CONNECT) helping to t develop the Commission’s Digital Single Market strategy. Anselm has published articles on a number of legal aspects of the digital world and holds a PhD in law from the University of Muenster.
Anselm Rodenhausen’s arrival complements the appointment of Nicholas Elles earlier this year as Vice President Communications and Public Affairs. Nicholas previously led communications for the Minister of Health and Environment and Secretary of State for the Economy for the Brussels Region and comes with an extensive background in corporate communications and public affairs from BCW where Nicholas was a Senior VP. Previously, Nicholas worked as a Senior Political and Communications Advisor in the European Parliament.
Jenny Ching-Wei-Lee joined us this summer as Communications Manager from ZN Consulting, a digital marketing agency in Brussels, where she worked as a creative content strategist and project team manager. She has previously worked with the news and media organization Science|Business and the international organisation UNICEF. Jenny also has experience working with Women in Games as their Marketing Manager and ran the business side of the World of Warcraft guild, Pieces, from 2020 to 2022.
